McCrea Cobb
McCrea is a supervisory biometrician with the FWS Refuge Inventory and Monitoring Program based in Anchorage, Alaska. He enjoys working with biologists to ensure that surveys are scientifically rigorous and produce data that are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). Jacob Cochran
Jacob is a fish biologist with the FWS Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office in Basom, NY. He leads the Aquatic Invasive Species programs early detection and monitoring efforts across the lower Great Lakes. Along with managing fieldwork operations, Jacob emphasizes efficiency through workflows and automation to improve program capacity and data availability. Jason Ross
Jason is a data manager with the FWS Midwest Fisheries Center Data Branch that provides data support to staff in FWS Midwest Region’s Fisheries and Aquatic Conservation program. You can learn more about Jason and the rest of the Data Branch here.
Emma Schillerstrom
Emma is a data management technician with the FWS Refuge Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Program based in Anchorage, Alaska. She enjoys working with all kinds of wildlife data and is passionate about introducing automation and code-based solutions into long-term monitoring workflows. Jonah Withers
Jonah is a data manager with the USFWS Fisheries and Ecological Services program in the Alaska region. He is passionate about fostering a data-centric culture and works closely with biologists and managers to ensure stakeholders have reliable access to data following FAIR principles that lead to informed conservation decisions.
